Who We Are
Northgate IT Consultancy helps startups and growing businesses make good technology decisions, and then build on them. Our mission is to give smaller teams the kind of senior IT and security guidance that was once available only to large enterprises.
We work in two ways. Advisory: we assess your security, cloud and systems and give clear recommendations, vendor-neutral and in plain language. Build: we create infrastructure and web applications from scratch, scoped in writing and delivered in milestones.
Based in the Philippines, we pride ourselves on responsiveness, transparency, and long-term partnerships.

Meet the Founder
Ron Ron V. Gascon
Founder, Northgate IT Consultancy
IT and digital transformation leader with 16+ years of experience across cybersecurity, IT governance, risk management, enterprise systems, and cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
My career started hands-on. As an IT specialist, technical support specialist and IT head in NGO, university and hospitality environments, I set up file servers, domain controllers, VPNs, WAN accelerators and print servers, handled backup and restoration of critical data, and put disaster recovery and information security controls in place.
In healthcare, I led IT, quality and security functions for a hospital operating under DOH, PHIC, ISO 9001:2015 and Data Privacy Act requirements. That meant keeping networks and servers available, running quality audits, managing the annual IT budget, building a network disaster recovery plan, and recruiting and training the IT team. As Cybersecurity Manager, I developed the security policies, risk assessments and incident response planning, and guided the adoption of SIEM, endpoint protection, data loss prevention and identity and access management, aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
Today I head systems, processes and technology for a renewable energy company. I set the technology and digital transformation strategy with executive leadership, govern the project portfolio using Agile, and have delivered a Microsoft 365 migration, Microsoft cybersecurity, cloud adoption, document management, CRM and requisition systems, and an enterprise data warehouse with Power BI dashboards.
Across all of these roles the lesson has been the same: good technology decisions come from understanding the business first, writing the plan down, and building security in from the start rather than adding it later.
I started Northgate IT Consultancy to give startups and growing businesses the senior IT and security guidance that is usually reserved for large enterprises, with a team that can build when they are ready.
